Cartaventa
For B2B sales teams

Stop sending proposals into a black hole

Your AI already builds proposals in HTML. Cartaventa gives every person on the buying side their own private link. It opens in one click, no login, with the calculators still working. You see who viewed it, how often, and who they passed it to inside their company — and you can shut off access anytime.

Proposal stuck in a PDF? Upload it as is and Cartaventa turns it into an interactive web page, same content, redesigned for mobile.

This is what your buyer sees — and yes, the sliders work. Try it. Sample data.

You built a great proposal. Then you sent it as an attachment.

PDFs flatten the good parts

The ROI calculator, the timeline, the side-by-side options: in a PDF it all freezes. And on a phone, where your champion reads it between meetings, it's barely legible.

Public links leak

A proposal carries your pricing, your scope and your buyer's data. With an open link, anyone who has it gets in — and search engines can index it.

Once it's sent, you're flying blind

Did they open it? How many times? Who else got it? You're following up in the dark at the most expensive stage of the deal.

The cost isn't the file. It's trying to close without knowing if anyone's reading — or who else is in the room.

How it works

Four steps. The first one takes seconds, and you don't have to touch the other three.

Publish the HTML

Upload the file your AI produced — one self-contained HTML file, up to 5 MB — give it a name and publish. It lives on your company's own subdomain, yourcompany.cartaventa.io, unindexed, and nobody can open it yet.

Proposal in PDF? Upload it as is and Cartaventa rebuilds it as an interactive web page: same copy, same numbers, your images, with a cover, sections and a table of contents. It takes a few minutes and flags anything missing before you share it.

Pricing changed? Upload a new version. Every link you already sent keeps working, and your buyer sees the update without you resending a thing.

Send one link per person

Add the email addresses and a short note. Each person gets their own link, in their name, different from everyone else's. If someone copies the address bar into Slack, nothing opens on the other end: no redeemed link, no access. Links last 90 days.

Your buyer opens it in one click

No account, no password, nothing to install. The proposal opens with everything still live: they drag the calculator, run scenarios with their own numbers and jump through the table of contents. It looks just as good on a phone as on a laptop.

A slim Cartaventa footer at the bottom shows your company name, a Share button and a note that views are logged. No hidden tracking.

See who's opening it — and cut access anytime

For each recipient: how many times they viewed it and when they last did. Sixteen views in a week is not the same as one view the day you sent it, and that changes who you call today.

Deal went sideways, your contact left, or the file just shouldn't be floating around anymore: revoke access for one person or for everyone, and from that moment on the link stops working.

The first “view” is often the corporate email scanner, not a person.

Sample data.

→ So you follow up knowing what's actually happening on their side.

Your proposal gets forwarded internally. You almost never find out — and it's one of the best signals in the deal.

The VP of Operations asks for the proposal and sends it to two people to review. With a PDF you never see that forward: you don't know who else is weighing in, or who you still need to win over.

With Cartaventa, your buyer shares it from the footer, every invitee gets their own link, and you see who invited whom.

You watch the buying committee map itself out, no org chart required. And if the content is sensitive, turn sharing off for that document. Done.

We log how many times it was viewed, when it was last viewed, and who invited whom. That's it: no read time, no section tracking.

What you need to get started

You don't need to be an AI expert or know how to code. You need a proposal and a way to turn it into HTML — that part we give you.

  • The proposal you already send — in Word, Google Docs or PowerPoint. We start there. Already have it as a PDF? Upload it and Cartaventa turns it into an interactive page.
  • Our prompts — so ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini turns that proposal into clean HTML that looks right on a phone and on a laptop.
  • Ideas for what to make interactive — an ROI calculator, an options comparison, a configurator. It's what gets a proposal read twice instead of once.
  • Your own subdomain — yourcompany.cartaventa.io, on every plan. It's what your buyer sees in the address bar when they click.

A live document is one with at least one active link. Archive it to free up the slot; you can still see it. A PDF conversion only counts if it succeeds. Prices in Mexican pesos with IVA included, for companies invoiced in Mexico.

On every plan, the document footer shows your company name and the Cartaventa brand. It can't be removed on any plan: it tells your buyer what platform they're on, where the link came from and where to report anything that looks off.

What Cartaventa doesn't do

It's not a CRM or a deal room

No pipeline, no lead scoring, no reminders. It logs views and who invited whom, because that's what you need to decide who keeps access. Everything else already lives in your CRM.

It doesn't track read time

Or which section your buyer looked at, or how far they scrolled. The document runs isolated and can't report anything back — which is exactly what makes it safe to open.

It's not a document editor

Your AI is the editor: that's where you write and revise the proposal. Cartaventa is where the finished file lands: a single self-contained HTML file, up to 5 MB.

The PDF conversion doesn't edit either: it takes your PDF as is and rebuilds it in HTML without changing the content. Want to tweak something? Download the HTML, ask your AI, and upload the new version.

Who's behind it

Cartaventa is built by Sail Away, a B2B sales development firm. It started as our own problem: our proposals had become interactive, and there was no decent way to share them without flattening them into a PDF or leaving them exposed on the open web. Today it's how we send every proposal we write.

Questions we get

How is this different from DocSend or other document-tracking tools?

Those tools are built around PDFs and slide decks, and many track time spent on each page. Cartaventa is built for the HTML proposals AI tools now generate: the calculators and comparisons stay live. And we deliberately don't track read time or scroll depth. You get who viewed it, how often, and who they forwarded it to — the signals that change who you call next.

Do I need to be good with AI to use it?

No. If you already use AI, upload the HTML it made and you're done. If you don't, we'll give you the prompts and walk you through converting one of your own proposals the first time. After that it's copy and paste.

What exactly do I upload?

A single self-contained HTML file up to 5 MB, with the CSS and JavaScript inside and images embedded. That's exactly how AI tools produce these pages.

You can also upload a proposal or catalog as a PDF, up to 20 MB and 50 pages: Cartaventa rebuilds it as an interactive page with the same content and publishes it unshared, so you can review it first.

Does my buyer have to sign up or set a password?

No. They click the link in their email and they're in. With Verified Access on, they also tap Open document, and if they later open it on another device, they get a 6-digit code by email. No account, no password, and the URL stays clean.

What if my buyer forwards the email with their link?

Your call, per document. With Standard Access, the default, whoever gets it opens it as the original recipient: their views add to your recipient's count. That's right for material you want to travel.

Switch the document to Verified Access and a forwarded link won't open: it opens with one click in your buyer's first browser, and anywhere else it asks for a code sent to their email. The person it was forwarded to can request their own access, and you decide. Every view you see is one person. Want to see who else is reading? Ask your buyer to use the Share button in the footer: each person gets their own link and shows up in your list, with the name of whoever invited them.

What if someone copies the URL and drops it in Slack or Teams?

Nothing opens. Without a redeemed link, that address shows the restricted-access screen, the same as if the document didn't exist. Access lives in the browser that redeemed the link, not in the URL.

Will my buyer's IT or email filters flag it?

The invitation comes from Cartaventa with your name on it, and the document opens on your company's subdomain, not on some random file-sharing site. Corporate email scanners often click the link before anyone else does; that's why the first “view” usually isn't a person.

Can Google find my proposals?

No. The whole document domain is noindex with a closed robots.txt, and without a redeemed link there's nothing to see. If someone pastes the address into a chat, the link preview doesn't show the title either.

Does it integrate with Salesforce or HubSpot?

Not out of the box. Cartaventa isn't a CRM and doesn't try to be one: it tells you who viewed what, and you take that to your CRM. If you want to wire it in, there's an API.

Can buyers download it as a PDF?

Not yet. The button is built but not released; it ships in the next phase, along with a per-document switch to turn it off when you don't want downloads.

What happens if I change the price after sending it?

Upload a new version. The link doesn't change, and your buyer sees the update the next time they open it.

How do live documents count against my plan?

A document counts while it has at least one active link. Archive it and it stops counting, and you can still see it; when every link on a document expires, it drops off on its own. Publishing drafts and iterating doesn't use up slots.

What if I go over my limit or stop paying?

You can't publish new documents, but nothing you've already shared stops opening. Your buyer will never hit a locked door because of a billing issue on our end.

Why prices in US dollars, and is tax included?

Outside Mexico, Cartaventa is billed in US dollars at a fixed monthly price, with no currency conversion on our side. Prices don't include tax; if any applies, it's added at checkout. If your company is invoiced in Mexico, you pay in Mexican pesos with IVA included.

How do I get an account?

We're opening Cartaventa to US teams gradually, and there's no self-serve sign-up in English yet. Request early access below and we'll set you up on a short call, with your first document published and shared the same day.
